Jönköping County covers the northwestern part of the county of Småland and Habo and Mullsjö municipalities in western Sweden. The county has a very old heritage of remains from several different eras in history. There are over 20 000 relics from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages. The landscape of the county varies but is mostly covered by forest and is rich in the highlands of Småland. There are many famous buildings in Jönköping County and some of them are declared as heritage building Match Museum in Jönköping, Gripenberg's castle and Hylte metal products factory.
